Dataset Objective

To assist the World Bank Group (WBG) in gaining a better understanding of how stakeholders in Lao PDR perceive the WBG.

Context

This is part of World Bank Group Country Opinion Survey Program conducted in 35 countries. Survey is conducted in a 3-year cycle.

What is included

Scope of the survey: the general issues facing Lao PDR, overall attitude towards the World Bank, World Bank effectiveness and results, the World Bank’s knowledge, working with the World Bank, specific project/program related issues, the future role of the World Bank in Lao PDR, communication, information sharing and background information of the respondents.

Collection Methods

Sample survey. A total of 296 stakeholders of the World Bank Group in Lao PDR participated.
