This dataset was collected as a round 2 follow-up survey for Africa Program for Education Impact.
The dataset contains information collected from the school headteachers/deputy teacher/ senior teacher on school finances, characteristics and other information, information on teachers' activities, student activities among others, numeracy and literacy test, and pupil and oral test information.
The data was collected through sampled headteacher (deputy or senior teacher in case of absence of school headteacher) questionnaire interviews, classrooms visits, written numeracy, and literacy test, and pupils' questionnaire & oral literacy test from 276 public schools and government-aided/supported, observations and monitoring.
