This was a baseline study for evaluating the impact of the Early Years Preschool Program.
The dataset contains the communities and schools, background characteristics of children and their families, provided a pre-test of children's school readiness, and provided information regarding the basic infrastructure and material resources available at intervention schools, community infrastructure, community assets, and current initiatives at the school that is intended to benefit children ages 3 to 6 years.
Data was collected using a sample survey.
