To collect citizen perspectives on decentralization in general and specifically on the impacts of Ghana’s devolution of agricultural services.
This study covered the period between March 2016 and March 2017.
Data contains information on households assets and access to services like water, electricity, etc., location information about the region, district, and community of the respondent, general demographic information, household’s farming and livestock activities, access to, and use of, agriculture or livestock advisory services, degree of participation in collective action and voting, engagement with elected officials, and frequency of access to the news and access to social facilities like hospitals, markets and schools.
Data was collected through a sample survey using in-person interviews. This survey includes a sample of 960 respondents who span 48 districts across six regions of Ghana.
