To provide baseline information for evaluating the MoreMilkiT project impact, which aims for growth and reducing poverty and vulnerability among people with dairy-dependent livelihoods in selected rural areas in Tanzania.
This was a baseline survey.
Data consists of household-level information on Feeding and water (availability of water for animals), Household identification, households roster, assets, Access to and use of livestock-related technology and inputs relative to cattle, Milk production and sale- milk from cattle only, Household dietary diversity score and food consumption score and Production and sale of cattle products and services (except fresh and fermented milk).
Data was collected using a sample households interview survey. A total of 932 households were interviewed.
