Dataset Objective

To show the root nutrient concentration in fertilized plots in the Central Amazon, Brazil.

Context

Data was collected from November 2017 to August 2018 funded by Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), Brazil at the Biological Dynamics of Forest Fragments Project (BDFFP) and the Brazilian government (student scholarship).

What is included

Data contains the of iron, zinc, manganese, calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, nitrogen and carbon concentrations in fine roots (<2mm diameter) collected from old-growth forests in Central Amazon.

Collection Methods

Sampling analysis, spectrophotometry and experimental studies.
