The data was collected to explain the financial lives of smallholder households in Pakistan, Mozambique, and Tanzania.
The dataset was collected as an initiative of Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) by the World Bank.
The dataset contains the cashflow roots categories (operational expenses, cash, physical asset, financial and operational income), financial inflows and outflows, their amounts, change of income level (increase or decrease), among other economic parameters.
The data was collected using face-to-face sample interviews from 270 households, 86 from Tanzania, 94 from Pakistan, 93 from Mozambique, drawn from 3 villages in Mozambique, and 2 from Tanzania and Pakistan.
