It covers the period of 2018 to 2020. This dataset is part of the Global SDG Indicator database compiled through the UN System in preparation for the Secretary-General's annual report on progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
This dataset contains the 276 records degree of implementation of international instruments which recognize and protect access rights for small-scale fisheries for different countries. The degree ranges from 1 to 5, with 1 representing lowest and 5 highest. Data also entails the sustainable development goal code, goal label, description, target code, target description, global locations, geographic area name and code, parent geographic area name, geographic area type, earliest and latest years, available years, among other attributes.
Data was collected from government agencies and non-government organizations and supplemented by satellite images.
