To show the length and density of road networks of Mauritius.

Context

Data was sourced from the statistics Mauritius and it covers the period 1980 to 2016.

What is included

This data contains the motorways in km, main roads, length and density of road network, length of roads as at end of the year ( KM), secondary roads (KM), other roads (KM), number of vehicles per km of road and density of total road network in km per sq km.

Collection Methods

Data was collected through satellite images.
