To measure the impact of COVID-19 on rural people (men and women) in Niger.
This impact assessment was conducted as the first round led by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). Other contributors were CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security (CCAFS) and the CGIAR Gender Platform.
This dataset contains the individuals' responses on their demographic characteristics (gender, age, marital status, name, education level, etc.), basic information about the household like the head of the family, principal occupation, the primary source of drinking water for your household members, how COVID-19 changed the way they get their drinking water, sources of drinking water, duration is taken to collect the water, loss of income, morbidity, sickness, family conflicts, and other variables.
This dataset was collected using a sample survey conducted through telephone interviews and structured questionnaires. The unit of analysis was individuals and households. The samples were drawn from the rural households in Maradi, Tillaberi, and Diffa.
