Dataset
To increase awareness of karst groundwater resources in the context of global water issues and help address global water resources management.
Karst aquifers constitute valuable freshwater resources for hundreds of millions of people worldwide. In many countries and regions, groundwater from karst aquifers is the major source of freshwater for drinking water supply and agricultural irrigation.
This dataset studies potential karst aquifer, karst springs, cave systems, cities partly dependent on groundwater, the border between exposed and non-exposed karstifiable rocks, challenges, and characteristics of water from karst aquifers, karst terrain change of mean precipitation, karst aquifer location, and population change.
