To provide groundwater-related data from basement aquifers in the Romwe Catchment.
Dataset was collected through a series of projects. These projects are the Small scale irrigation using collector wells, Sustainability of yield from wells and boreholes in hard rock aquifers, Regional groundwater recharge assessment in semi-arid areas, The Hydrology of a dry land catchment in southern Zimbabwe, and the effects of climatic and land-use change on shallow groundwater resources and Integrated Catchment Management and Sustainable Water Resource Development in Semi-arid Zimbabwe projects.
The dataset contains hydrochemical data (soil type and geology) and groundwater level time series for several boreholes and wells within the basement aquifers of the Romwe catchment.
Data was collected using remote sensing and laboratory sample analysis.
