Dataset Objective

To understand and quantify the available groundwater resources within the Oju/Obi area of Eastern Nigeria.

Context

The data was collected by the British Geological Survey (BGS) as part of the Department for International Development (DFID) project CNTR 960023A. WaterAid, Local and regional governments use these results to help local communities develop sustainable water supplies.

What is included

Data contains the groundwater chemistry composition collected from sampled boreholes and wells, rainfall chloride, and mineralogical information.
