To evaluate and validate the land Tenure Services Project logic underlying each activity and assess the sustainability of proposed and achieved outcomes after project close.
MCC’s $507 million Mozambique Compact (2008-2013) sought to improve land policies and regulations, improve the efficiency of land administration services, and expand access to land use through the $39 million Land Tenure Services Project.
Data entails the demographic characteristics, income sources and type of economic activities, assets owned by households, livestock and sub-products, access to credits, agricultural uses and land parcels, access to utility and infrastructure in parcels used for residence purposes, food consumption per month, knowledge of women about land laws and many more related attributes.
Data was collected using panel households surveys, direct observations, satellite imagery, Focus group discussions (FGD), key informant interviews, supplemented with Land administrative data, other government/administrative data and annual/quarterly reports from contractors.
