The data is accessed directly from the Ministry's website. The data is already prepared to be used in GIS programs for easy visualization. (2016-08-18)
Data contains 113 districts, counties, sub-counties, total respective population and population served, percentage of urban water access, the proportion of rural water access, the proportion of functional rural and urban water supply, piped water, proportion of water for production, protected springs functionality, public stand posts, protected springs, shallow wells, municipality and other water supply sources.
This dataset was sourced from the Ministry of Water and Environment's Uganda website.
