Dataset
To estimate Oroquieta residents' willingness to pay (WTP) for reliable domestic water from Improved Watershed Services of the Layawan Watershed.
Watersheds provide numerous ecosystem services to downstream communities often with no cost to them. Although these services are valuable to humans, they do not have monetary values attached to them, making their total economic value quite ambiguous
Data contains households demographic information (age, sex, education level, marital status), the primary source of water, sources of income, sources of fuel, watershed protection responses, monthly expenditure on water, water shortage awareness, etc.
Data were collected through a sample survey administered using referendum questions.
