To show the countries with users communities participating in planning programs in water resources planning and management by the level of participation.

Context

This dataset is part of the Global SDG Indicator database compiled through the UN System in preparation for the Secretary-General's annual report on progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. It covers the period of 2017 to 2019.

What is included

Data contains the countries with users communities participating in planning programs in water resources planning and management by the level of participation for different countries. The levels range from 0-3, with 3, indicating high, 2, middle, 1 low and 0 nill. Other information in this dataset is the sustainable development goal code, goal label, description, target code, target description, global locations, geographic area name and code, parent geographic area name, geographic area type, earliest and latest years, and available years.

Collection Methods

Data was collected using sample surveys and monitoring and supplemented by satellite images.
