To identify areas of the world at multi hazard mortality risk and to gain insight into the nature of the risk posed.
The Global Multihazard Mortality Risks and Distribution is a 2.5 minute grid identifying and characterizing the nature of multihazard risk at the global scale. For this study, multihazard considers the hazards posed by cyclones, droughts, earthquakes, floods, landslides and volcanoes.
This dataset contain hazard type ( floods, cyclones, earthquakes, drought), location of the hazards, total population, the population affected, length of transportation features, risk extent and agricultural areas affected.
