To provide an experimental system for early warning of flood and drought conditions across Mozambique.
Data is collected at district, national and river points.
Main variables are: precipitation, runoff, evapotranspiration, streamflow, soil moisture, SPI-1/SPI-3 (1 or 3 month Standardized Precipitation Index), SM index (standardized anomaly), Q percentile (pctl), P percentile (pctl), SPI-1/SPI-3 (1 or 3 month Standardized Precipitation Index), SM index (standardized anomaly) and Streamflow (Q) percentile. Summary of current conditions, short-term forecasts and seasonal forecasts.
Dataset is based on satellite imagery and data sourced from various meteorological weather stations.
