Dataset Objective

To provide an experimental system for early warning of flood and drought conditions across the Africa.

Context

What is included

Main variables are: precipitation, runoff, evapotranspiration, streamflow, soil moisture, SPI-1/SPI-3 (1 or 3 month Standardized Precipitation Index), SM index (standardized anomaly), Q percentile (pctl), P percentile (pctl), SPI-1/SPI-3 (1 or 3 month Standardized Precipitation Index), SM index (standardized anomaly) and Streamflow (Q) percentile.

Collection Methods

System is based on a set of ground, satellite and modeled datasets.
