Dataset Objective

To provide the land cover map to be used by independent oil palm smallholders in Thailand, Ghana, and Honduras as part of Land Use Change Analysis (LUCA) under the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

What is included

The dataset contains shape length and area of land covers with various vegetation classes in Thailand, Ghana, and Honduras.

Collection Methods

Data was collected using satellite imagery. The areas identified as plantations were used to mask the tree cover layer to generate the final land cover layer for 2005.
