Dataset
To generate and display global data on weather from the Global Forecast System.
The Global Forecast System (GFS) is a National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) weather forecast model that generates data for dozens of atmospheric and land-soil variables, including temperatures, winds, precipitation, soil moisture, and atmospheric ozone concentration.
Dataset contains: land cover, soil type, pressure, categorical rain, categorical snow, relative humidity, evaporation rate, total precipitation, soil temperature, cloud cover and atmospheric ozone concentration.
The data is sourced from forecast, analysis and historic data.
