Dataset Objective

To detect the changes in the vegetation cover, composition and structure in the Flat Rangelands in Uzbekistan due to grazing.

Context

Three monitoring sites with different levels of livestock grazing were selected for conducting the vegetation surveys: rangeland areas around 2 watering wells and one rangeland area with no/limited livestock grazing.

What is included

The data contains the vegetation measurements, plant cover, plant density of perennial plants, average standing crop in kg/ha, plant species cover, and the annual biomass results.

Collection Methods

Data was collected through a monitoring survey and laboratory analysis.
