To obtain enterprises feedback from World Bank client countries on the state of the private sector and build a panel of enterprise data for tracking the business environment over time.
Firm level surveys were collected since 1998.
Data contains firm's characteristics, information about sales and suppliers, competition, infrastructure services, judiciary and law, enforcement collaboration, security, government policies, laws and regulations, financing, overall business environment, bribery, performance, and investment activities.
Survey of 360 enterprises selected through stratified random sampling targeting Formal (registered) companies with five or more employees.
