To provide and compare diurnal mean global ocean bottom pressure.
The data was created to interpolate ocean bottom pressure to a regular 0.5-degree grid, an improvement from the previous Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean version 4.
The dataset contains daily mean global oceans bottom pressure estimates recorded between 1992-2018.
The dataset was collected using satellite imagery and remote sensing.
