To assess the impact of COVID-19 on rural people in Senegal.
This impact assessment was conducted as the fourth round and produced by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).
This dataset contains the individuals' responses on their demographic characteristics (gender, age, marital status, name, education level, etc.), basic information about the household (head of the family, number of family members, children below five years of age, number of family members above 60 years of age, etc.), principal occupation, the primary source of drinking water for their household members, how COVID-19 changed the way they get their drinking water, sources of drinking water, duration taken to collect the water, loss of income, morbidity, sickness, family conflicts, and other attributes.
This dataset was collected using a sample phone survey administered using structured questionnaires. The unit of analysis was individuals and households. The samples were drawn from the rural households in the regions of Diourbel, Fatick, Kaffrine, Kaolack, Kolda, Kédougou, Louga, Matam, Saint-Louis, Sédhiou, Tambacounda, Thiés and Ziguinchor.
