Dataset
To study the interdependencies between land and water resources, agricultural production and environmental outcomes in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The baseline years (2000, 2010) act as calibration points, and projections often go out to 2050. Scenarios vary in how intensively production is increased, whether land expansion occurs, efficiency improvements, trade distortions, etc
Data entails the baseline levels of land use, livestock production, water infrastructure, trade parameters, and future scenarios of cultivated area growth, pasture area growth, and fertilizer intensity application.
Data was generated through modeling.
