This data was collected as part of COVID-19 surveillance in monitoring the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 (virus that causes COVID-19) at a population level.
Included is an interactive map (or dashboard) (or interactive map (or dashboard)) (or interactive map (or dashboard) (or interactive map (or dashboard))) (or interactive map (or dashboard) (or interactive map (or dashboard)) (or interactive map (or dashboard) (or interactive map (or dashboard)))) that shows various significant result of all the samples taken for each site. The results are, population served by the wastewater, anticipated detection and test results on COVID-19 presence of the virus.
The data was collected from wastewater samples taken from more than 120 sites including the large Melbourne Eastern and Western?wastewater treatment?plants,?regional wastewater treatment plants, and more than 70 locations throughout the metropolitan sewerage system. The samples are then analyzed for COVID-19 viral fragments.
