Dataset Objective

This dataset was collected to determine the agricultural water productivity in the Euphrates-Tigress basin.

Context

This dataset was collected as part of the Supporting Coordination and Cooperation in Water Management in the Euphrates and Tigris Area (CPET) project. Data was produced by the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA).

What is included

Data contains water productivity for irrigated areas in 2002 measured in kg/m3 in the Euphrates-Tigress basin. The areas are categorized as: NA, <0.25, 0.25-0.5, 1.1-1.3, 1.4-1.5, 1.6-2, 2.1-2.5, 2.6-3 and >3.1

Collection Methods

This dataset was mapped using satellite images.
