To collect the agricultural data on the major crops in Syria, Iraq, and Turkey to support the coordination and management of water in the Euphrates and Tigris Area.
Agricultural statistics data for the first four major crops have been collected from Syria, Iraq, and Turkey, countries collaborated for the "Supporting Coordination and Cooperation in Water Management in the Euphrates and Tigris Area
Data contains the country level crop characteristics like crop name, crop yield in weight per area, crop market price, districts, the cultivated area in hectares, crop season (summer or winter crops), crop classification (irrigated, rainfed and supplemental), irrigation water source, planting and harvesting periods, crop intensity and crop rotation for the years 2002, 2006 and 2008.
Data was collected through monitoring and experimental studies.
