To collect baseline information for evaluating the activities of improving the productive use of marginal lands in mixed farming and pastoral systems.
This was a baseline study conducted in 2015.
The dataset contains the socio-economic situation in the study area, level of awareness and knowledge concerning alternative agricultural practices, energy sources, water use and attitudes to current land management, food and consumption, crop inputs, livestock costs, among others.
Data was collected using sample households surveys.
