To provide data on mortality rate and life expectancy in Nepal between 2011-2031.

Context

Dataset highlights mortality dynamics in Nepal, projected through 2031 using baseline data collected in 2011.

What is included

Dataset contains: total deaths, female life expectancy at birth, male life expectancy at birth, infant mortality rate, child mortality rate, under 5 mortality rate and crude death rate per 1000 population.

Collection Methods

Data modelling of the following sources: Population Census 2011, Demographic and Health Survey 2011-2016 and District Migration Data from the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Department of Foreign Employment, Kathmandu, Nepal.
