To access the level of disruption to the provision of antenatal care and delivery services for pregnant women, resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This survey serves as a follow-up to the 2020 survey, aiming to measure changes in the delivery of maternal and infant health services throughout a specified period of the COVID-19 pandemic. It focuses on disruptions in antenatal and delivery services as the pandemic continued and government responses evolved.
Survey covers the following scope: abortion, abortive outcome, antenatal care, birth place, education, employment, ethnicity, health care access, live births, menstruation, miscarriage, place of delivery, postnatal care, pregnancy, religion, stillbirths, skilled birth attendants and social distancing measures.
Sample survey was conducted in 51 countries. Respondents are members of the general population pregnant or having given birth within the past 6 months at the time of the survey.
