Dataset Objective

To provide information on land cover types in the Oro and West New Britain project region in Papua New Guinea.

This dataset was developed as a product of the 2014-2016 World Bank (WBG) European Space Agency (ESA) partnership.

The data contains land cover types (wetlands, shrubland, settlements, and oil palm) in the Oro and West New Britain region for the year 2011.

Data was collected using satellite imagery.
