Context

The data develops a set of internationally comparable indicators with a long time series and a five-year interval from 2000 to 2022 for the Climate Change Initiative Land Cover dataset, and from 1975 to 2030 for the Global Human Settlement Layer dataset

This dataset entail country name, region, type of land cover conversion (from sparse vegetation to cropland, sparse vegetation to bare area, sparse vegetation to shrubland, sparse vegetation to wetland, sparse vegetation to artificial surfaces, sparse vegetation to tree cover, sparse vegetation to inland water, sparse vegetation to grassland, cropland to sparse vegetation, cropland to bare area, cropland to shrubland, cropland to wetland, cropland to artificial surfaces, cropland to tree cover area, cropland to inland water, cropland to grassland, bare area to sparse vegetation, bare area to cropland, bare area to shrubland and bare area to wetland.
