Dataset Objective

To show land use/land cover for Shambe National Park, South Sudan.

Land use/Land cover classification is based on the Natural Habitat Conservation (NHC) unit of the MESA-IGAD thema.

Dataset consists of: tree cover, tree cover mosaic, other wooded land, bare and burnt, agriculture, water, urban land, other land and swamp.

Satellite imagery and monitoring data. Joint Research Centre ImpactToolbox was used for image pre-processing, classification and validation.
