Dataset Objective

To measure the degree to which a country achieves the target of protecting the access to water, sanitation, reducing child mortality and terrestrial biome within its borders.

Context

The Natural Resource Management Index (NRMI), 2011 Release is a composite index for 174 countries derived from the average of four proximity-to-target indicators for eco-region protection (weighted average percentage of biomes under protected status), access to improved sanitation, access to improved water and child mortality.

This dataset focus on four main variables: access to water, access to sanitation, eco-region protection, and child mortality.
