This dataset was collected to inform strategies to increase climate change resilience among women and men in Senegal.
This dataset was collected by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and produced by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). The funder of the research was CGIAR Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security. Other contributors were World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and International Livestock and Research Institute (ILRI).
Data contains information on the household roster, the sketch of the farm, land ownership, management, and decision making, decision-making authority on agricultural, livestock, and household decisions, adoption and knowledge of climate-smart agriculture practices, access to and use of climate and agricultural information services, access to and use of credit, membership in groups, fuel and water use, experience with climate shocks and coping strategies, perception of climate change and its potential impacts, identification of adaptation strategies, cognitive decision-making and personal values questions.
Data was collected using a sample households survey.
