Dataset Objective

This dataset was collected to inform strategies to increase climate change resilience among women and men in Bangladesh as a follow-up survey for the first round.

Context

This dataset was produced by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the Center for Development Research (University of Bonn) (ZEF) and Data Analysis and Technical Assistance (DATA). The survey was conducted as a follow-up survey for round 1.

What is included

This dataset contains information on the demographic characteristics, social capital, land tenure, crop and livestock management, input use, extension, the incidence of climatic shocks in the last five years, and adaptation options and any changes from the 2010 survey.

Collection Methods

Data was collected using a sample households survey. The unit of analysis was farming household and community.
