To provide population and housing census data used for national planning.
Data was collected as a routine population census conducted every ten years.
Data includes various demographic indicators, household characteristics, health status, access to essential services (health facilities, clean water, sanitation), among other indicators in Cambodia's 1998 population at the province level, district, commune and village.
The dataset was collected through a national census survey.
