The dataset was collected to offer accurate and reliable data for poverty analysis and measuring economic well-being of Gambia.
This dataset was collected as the third series of the Integrated Household Survey (IHS) in Gambia.
The data contains information on individual households components, assets, unemployment, income level, literacy and education status, rental rates, poverty perception, housing amenities, health indicators among other key parameters.
The data was collected using sample household survey questionnaires with the samples divided into four sub-samples representing seasonal/ quarterly variation.
