Data available for 200+ countries and for different regions over an extensive time period (from 1960 to 2017).

What is included

The data contain wastewater, pressure on water resources, drainage, components of environment, and use, population, conventional water resources, non-conventional sources, water withdrawal by sector, water withdrawal by source, irrigation potential, irrigation techniques, and irrigated crops.

Collection Methods

Data collected using FAO-AQUASTAT questionaire on water and agriculture dispatched to AQUASTAT national correspondents.
