Dataset Objective

To provide data on household demographics and health care in the state of Chiapas in Mexico.

Context

This study is a baseline for household census and household survey and is part of Salud Mesoamérica Initiative.

What is included

Survey covers the following scope: demographic characteristics, healthcare use, healthcare access, healthcare expenditures, perceived quality of key interventions for women of reproductive age and children, child anthropometry and anemia.

Collection Methods

Data is obtained through: Dried blood spot (DBS) measurements for children ages 12-23 months, household census and household survey.
