To provide data on risks of groundwater pollution due to social organization in informal settlements of Kampala, Uganda.
Table S1 provides the risk of contamination for nine sampled location in Bwaise community (Kampala, Uganda). Table S2 provides the data codes, categories and themes from the data analysis from transition arenas and in-depth interviews on socio-institutional drivers of groundwater contamination by on-site sanitation in Kampala.
Dataset contains: land use management, community users behaviours, water service management, sanitation services management, actors collaboration, policy and regulation, political factors, infrastructure, community valuation of groundwater and nature of operating environment.
Dataset is based on data analysis from transition arenas and in-depth interviews in nine sampled location in Bwaise community.
