To provide information on household characteristics, agriculture and livestock information, food consumption, health, water, sanitation and hygiene in Ethiopia.
This study covers 7 rounds of a survey.The survey took place in the years 1994, 1994-1995, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2004 and the latest being 2009.
Data contains: household characteristics, agriculture and livestock information, food consumption, health, women’s activities, as well as community level data on electricity and water, sewage and toilet facilities, health services, education, NGO activity, migration, wages, and production and marketing.
Household and Community level Surveys which were conducted in 7 rounds.The survey was conducted in selected households in the rural parts of Ethiopia with a varying sample size each year.
