To provide detailed and up-to-date data on the demographic and health structure of households in Cameroon.
This is the first DHS to be carried out in Cameroon.
Dataset contains: breastfeeding, complementary feeding, socio-demographic characteristics of the surveys, nutritional status of children, fertility, family planning, infant mortality, nuptiality, exposure to the risk of pregnancy, maternal health, child health and community services.
National sample survey on households. Data is collected from children under 5, Women 15-49 and Men 15-59 years.
