Dataset Objective

To assist the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in country selection criteria for funding eligibility.

Context

The NRPI covers 237 countries and is calculated based on the weighted average percentage of biomes under protected status. The CHI is a composite index for 190 countries derived from the average of three proximity-to-target scores for access to improved sanitation, access to improved water, and child mortality.

What is included

This dataset contains county code, country name, Natural Resource Protection Indicator, mortality, water, sanitation, proximity to mortality target and child health indicator.
