Dataset Objective

To provide data on health care, demographic and household characteristics in Bahia, Brazil.

Context

This study is a baseline survey and is part of of a HeartRescue program impact evaluation.

What is included

Dataset consists of demographic, household characteristics, healthcare use, health care access, health knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to acute cardiovascular disease (CVD) health, acute cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors and participants health histories.

Collection Methods

Sample survey, adults age 30 years or older were interviewed from each eligible household. Data were collected from 1,054 households.
