Dataset Objective

To map out water points, land use and land cover for Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Uganda.

Context

This project is undertaken by the following organizations: Uganda Bureau of Statistics, WFP, UNHCR and Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data.

What is included

Dataset contains: boreholes, water tanks, water tower, water well, protected springs, functionality of the water points, rivers, streams, land use i.e. agricultural land, forest, wetland and residential, main road, minor road, protected areas and boundaries.

Collection Methods

Crowdsourced data collection on mobile phones conducted by Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team.
