Dataset Objective

To show level of damage and humanitarian aid distributions in Sud, Grand'Anse, and Nippe departments.

Context

One map for each of three Departements: Sud, Grand'Anse, and Nippe. Each map shows the damage status of health facilities, the number of schools damaged, and results of a WASH evaluation survey. These are summarised for each commune, along with aid distributed by sector (as of 4 Sept) and military air deliveries. School status assessments are still taking place. Points on the map are the best approximation to the location. Some points might be missing. Affected families and houses figures are given for Departement du Sud only.

What is included

Dataset consists of: damage status of health facilities, the number of schools damaged, aid distributed by sector, military air deliveries, affected families, damaged houses, settlements and epicentres

Collection Methods

Modelling of the following data sources: UNDAC/OCHA - Distribution data, Air deliveries UN OCHA - Admin boundaries, PAHO - Health Facility status, WASH sector - WASH survey points, Education sector (UNICEF) - Damaged schools, OpenStreetMap - Settlements, roads, schools, waterbodies, Worldpop - Population and IOM (DTM) - IDP locations.
